We stand behind every handmade cover that leaves our Cincinnati studio. If your order isn’t quite right, we’re here to make it easy. Most regular-priced items can be returned within 14 days of delivery — just reach out and we’ll walk you through it. Shop with confidence! What Can Be Returned

Eligible for returns (within 14 days of delivery):

  • Regular-priced items in original, unused condition
  • Items in original packaging, shipped back in a protective box
  • Items must be free of pet hair, odors, stains, and damage
  • You must contact us before shipping anything back — do not send returns without prior approval
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Final sale — cannot be returned:

  • Personalized or monogrammed items — custom made with your chosen initial and cannot be resold
  • Items that have been used, washed, or altered in any way
  • Items returned without prior authorization — you must contact us first
  • Items returned after 14 days from delivery date
  • Fabric swatches
  • Sale or clearance items unless they arrive damaged or defective

20% Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, no exceptions. This fee covers our original shipping and packaging costs. Refunds will be issued minus the 20% restocking fee.

Returns will NOT be approved if the item shows any signs of use, pet hair, odors, stains, or is not in its original unused condition. Items returned in anything other than original condition will not be refunded and will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

Get Your RMA

We’ll review your request and send you a Return Authorization number within 1-2 business days.

Ship It Back

Pack the item securely in a box and use insured, trackable shipping.

Get Your Refund

Once we receive and inspect your item, we’ll process your refund within 5 business days, minus the 20% restocking fee.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We cannot issue refunds for items lost in return transit, so please use tracked and insured shipping.

Policy Details

Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges for a different color or size within 14 days of delivery, subject to availability. The item must be unused and in original condition. Contact us at christycraftedcovers@gmail.com to arrange an exchange. Please note that all exchanges are still subject to a 20% restocking fee. The customer is responsible for shipping costs for returning the original item.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damage or defect
  • A description of the issue

We will review your claim and either send a replacement or issue a full refund at our discretion. We may request that the damaged item be returned for inspection. If the damage is determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will cover the return shipping cost.

Wrong Item or Color Received

If you receive the wrong item or the wrong color, contact us immediately at christycraftedcovers@gmail.com with your order number and photos. We will ship the correct item at no additional cost and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.

Handmade Product Variations

All of our products are handmade from natural fabrics. Slight variations in pattern placement, stitching, fabric texture, and color are a natural characteristic of handmade goods and are not considered defects. These variations are what make each piece unique. Minor differences between your item and product photos do not qualify for a return or refund. Fabric colors may also appear slightly different on screen due to monitor settings and lighting in product photography.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS), Christy Crafted Covers is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend using a secure delivery location. If tracking shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. We also recommend checking with neighbors and looking in safe drop-off spots around your home.

Shipping Delays

Christy Crafted Covers is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the carrier, weather, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. If your package is significantly delayed, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking number. We will assist where we can but cannot issue refunds for carrier delays.

Order Cancellations

Because our products are handmade to order, cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of placing your order by emailing christycraftedcovers@gmail.com. If production has already begun, we may not be able to cancel the order. Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled — you may request a return once the item is delivered.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us at christycraftedcovers@gmail.com before filing a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in delays and additional complications in resolving your concern. We retain all order records, tracking information, and customer communication as documentation.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take an additional 5-10 business days to post the refund to your account. We will notify you by email when your refund has been processed.

Gift Orders

If you received a Christy Crafted Covers product as a gift and would like to exchange it, please contact us at christycraftedcovers@gmail.com. We will need the order number from the original purchaser. Gift recipients may receive a store credit minus the 20% restocking fee for the item instead of a refund to the original payment method.

Request a Return

Send an email to christycraftedcovers@gmail.com and we will review your request and email you further instructions within 1-2 business days. Please do not ship any items back without approval, you will not be refunded and the item will not be shipped back to you.
